More than 2700 people registered in advance for the WorkInPearland Job Fair, and many more registered on site Wednesday as the Pearland Recreation Center filled with job seekers, hiring managers and workforce-resource providers.
The event brought together dozens of Pearland-area employers representing industries including manufacturing, healthcare, construction, administration, hospitality, retail and other fields.
Throughout the day, attendees had opportunities to speak directly with hiring managers, learn about available positions, participate in interviews and access career-readiness support.
The turnout reflected the continued demand for direct connections between local employers seeking talent and residents looking for work, career changes, or advancement opportunities.
For the past five years, the WorkInPearland Job Fair has helped connect thousands of job seekers with employers in the Pearland area. Wednesday’s packed room showed that those in-person conversations remain valuable for both businesses and prospective employees.
The event was supported by Pearland Economic Development Corporation, the Pearland Chamber of Commerce and Workforce Solutions.
