Let’s Taco ’Bout Faith was a fun and engaging event held in Pearland at the end of March, focused on bringing together local entrepreneurs for tacos, honest conversation, and a fresh look at how following Jesus shapes the way we lead and do business. Hosted by Kristin Pomroy, Rev. Thea Curry-Fuson, and William Garay Jr., the evening created a space for people to wrestle with faith and leadership in real time; not as abstract ideas, but as a reflection on everyday decisions at work, at home, and in the community.
Hosts shared pieces of their own journeys, from William’s story of discovering his call to exhort and “call people up” through scripture, to Kristin and Thea’s reflections on modeling Christ-like leadership in business, parenting, and ministry. Guests were invited into guided table conversations, sharing their own stories, naming tensions, and discovering how much common ground exists when people are honest about their questions and their desire to lead well.
Instead of pretending to have all the answers, the event made room for uncertainty and curiosity and offered a time for anonymous “burning questions” about faith and leadership chosen at random the hosts would address throughout the evening.
A theme emerged through the evening: faithful leadership starts at home, shows up in how we treat people, and ultimately aims to glorify God in every arena of life.
A second event will be held on May 12, 2026.
Sign up in advance to attend. It will be worth your time!
