The 0-1 Dawson Eagles traveled to face the 0-1 Elkins Knights on Friday night. The first half featured a back-and-forth battle, highlighted by a touchdown catch from junior wide receiver Corey Khan. Elkins found its rhythm in the second half and pulled away, earning a 37-13 victory over Dawson.
The Eagles will return home to The Rig next Friday night to take on the 0-2 Alvin Yellowjackets.
