Pearland Stories is a modern local news and storytelling hub dedicated to capturing the heart of life in Pearland. We spotlight the people, places, and moments shaping our community from neighborhood events and small business wins to city decisions, school news, and the intersection of faith and civic life.

More than headlines, Pearland Stories curates thoughtful features, timely updates, and in‑depth coverage that help residents feel informed, connected, and proud to call Pearland home. Our mission is to amplify local voices, surface under-told stories, and create a trusted space where Pearland citizens can see themselves, their neighbors, and their city reflected every day.

It exists to give local leaders, small business owners, and community builders the depth of coverage they rarely get in a quick post or a passing mention. Through longer-form articles, in-depth interviews, and the Pearland Stories podcast, the platform captures the heartbeat of a growing city that still feels like a hometown. Each story is built around real conversations with people who are investing their time, talent, and resources into Pearland and the surrounding area.

What Pearland Stories Does
• Local leaders: in-depth profiles that explore the background, values, and vision of the people leading in business, nonprofits, faith communities, and civic life.
• Local business: storytelling-driven features that go beyond a basic listing to show how businesses started, what they stand for, and how they serve Pearland.
• Local conversations: the Pearland Stories podcast, live events, and digital content that surface the ideas, debates, and collaborations influencing what comes next for the city.

Every feature is designed to be useful to readers first and then to serve as a durable asset for the leaders and organizations involved. Articles can support websites, social media, presentations, and community introductions, giving local stories a longer life and a wider reach.

About the Publisher and Managing Editor
Pearland Stories is published and managed by Brant Mills, a multi-disciplinary communicator and long-time Pearland resident. Brant serves as both Publisher and Managing Editor, overseeing editorial direction, guiding story selection, and hosting the Pearland Stories podcast. He is also the owner of Content Execution Strategies L.L.C., a Pearland-based communications firm focused on ghostwriting, content strategy, and executive support.

Since 2003, Brant has developed and led communication campaigns across local news, nonprofit, and organizational contexts, with experience in media relations, crisis communication, and long-form storytelling. After stepping away from large institutional roles in 2025, he launched Content Execution Strategies and then Pearland Stories to focus more intentionally on amplifying local voices and documenting the stories unfolding in his own community. His work on Pearland Stories includes covering city council, local elections, small business owners, and emerging community leaders.

How Stories Are Chosen
Pearland Stories looks for leaders and organizations who are actively investing in Pearland, building something over time, and contributing to the city’s long-term health and culture. Priority goes to stories that reveal something true about the character of Pearland, highlight creative problem-solving, or show how people are serving others in quiet but significant ways. The goal is not to chase every headline, but to document the people and decisions that will still matter five or ten years from now.
